Time flies... Aug is going to be over soon.
Worked on Sat which is the Polling day
But since I'll have OT pay, I don't mind working
Had to answer phone calls for that whole day. =(
Because the person took MC on that day
I encountered someone "interesting"
I answered a call from a guy and he asked what time I end work and my working days etc
The funny thing is we didn't see each other before
Anyway, we won't have much chance to contact again
Since I rarely would need to answer calls, only at certain timings

Another temp staff left on last Fri
Which means that I would be having lunch alone
I will be walking in USS alone, playing the rides alone
That's pathetic right?
I should have came to this company earlier
They have alot of temp staff before I came in
And it seems that they were having fun everyday
Can see that they click very well
Even contacting one another every now and then
It's a bit weird if I join in because I don't really know them well
I hate the feeling of having to go to a new environment and blend in
And having to know new people
It's not easy
Everyone of them has a farewell party and all the previous temp staff would come back to celebrate
But I think for me most probably I'll be alone
Furthermore, they are not hiring anymore temp staff
Good luck to myselfWent to Batam yesterday
Our 8 people trip became 5 people in the end
But we indeed have fun
Although the place is so-so only
I would prefer Bangkok more! Haha. Looking forward to Sept
Because the prices are not as cheap as I thought
They know that alot of tourists are going there, especially Singaporeans
So they accept Sing dollar also
Maybe it will be more fun if everybody was able to go together

I really wonder... is it really pure luck or god is really helping me
Since this year, I have been very lucky in all kinds of situation
Even if it's just a small thing
This is really weird because my luck has not been good throughout the years
I always have to be prepared for the worst
But now, it's the opposite
Hopefully it will remain like this. =)

Results are out today.
I'm so happy that I passed all my modules for this year.
Though not very high marks, I'm already glad that I don't need to repeat the modules
I admit that I'm a bit greedy
I'm gonna aim for 2 more 2nd upper class marks next year
Hope I can pass my final year as well
Can foresee the stressfulness I'll have in yr 3
Today I keep checking on the results every hour since I stepped into the office this morning
Because it says that results will be out by 1pm (UK time), which is by 8pm in Sg
But once after I was busy doing something else, I was informed that results are out
My heart stopped for a second
Congrats to those who passed. =)
And for those who failed, hope you can pass the second time.
I can now enjoy the rest of my holidays now (though only a month left). =D

My 5th day of work
So far so good (Minus picking up of phone calls)
I'm actually blogging now.
So it's obvious right?
It's much better than my previous company
Over there I'm always rushing for time

I went to the Universal Studios! Finally! Hehe.
But didn't get to try on the rides.
Hopefully have the chance

Had a bad dream again last night
After so long, it has come back to haunt me. Omg.
When is it going to end? =(

My first day of work was fun.
Toured around the whole Sentosa
Like a tourist. =)
Second day also quite okay
Learned to pick up calls from various departments
But the bad thing is that my office doesn't look like an office at all.
It's at the fire command centre
Lots of power switches, controllers etc
And it's like isolated
I might have to work on every Sat
Which means that I would not be able to go out as often anymore. =(
Because my friends and my off day crashes
Too bad I don't have staff benefits like discounts on USS tickets
I haven't even go there once
It seems that everyone went already

Now I understand why so many people tell me of the politics there
The "tai chi" masters etc
It's common in large companies
But I won't regret joining
My previous company even say "We will always welcome you back" when I told them I'm resigning
I was like speechless...

I actually didn't realize until my last day of work on Wed
One of the guy whom I'm not even close to asked for my facebook and no.
Then my colleague told me he asked one of them for my name on my 1st day in the company
He was noticing me all the while
Or maybe I think too much already?
Ya. Maybe
Let's see how it goes
Let nature takes its own course
Going to snow city tomorrow. =D
I remembered the last time I went was in Sec 4?
Most probably it's still the same
