Finally got the chance to update
New year on the cruise was fun!
I like the full balcony view of the sea inside our cabin
The space is sooo much bigger than the normal one
And there's priority privilege for ua
Overall, it's a relaxing but short getaway

This year's CNY is as usual, other than the cruise
But there's one thing worth mentioning is that I had "rao yu sheng" for 3 times this year
This is so rare because our family don't have the tradition to do it

Collected my ipod nano yesterday
They exchanged a latest version for me
I'm so happy!
Thought that I won't be able to sell off my old one
Seems like a free trade in for me. =)
Although I most probably wont be using it
I'll just keep it. =)

Good news!
We've got it
But it's not 100% confirmed yet
Because we need the approval from someone
So it's too early to be happy now
But the chance is really quite low
We shall just pray hard for it

Some things to update
Went for a change of hairstyle for 2012
Hehe. Was at the salon for almost 5 hours!
The result was not as good as expected
Maybe it's because of my hair quality
It needs quite a lot of maintenance
Like treatments and protecting from dryness etc
I don't know whether it suits me
But at least I've tried a different style. =)

I spent ALOT yesterday
Yes, I know I've been saying I'm broke
But I'm still spending alot
Because it's too hard to control
It's a fact that women are very concerned on their external appearances
And they don't mind spending alot on it
I promise I will try to cut down
At least a little bit

We have decide to try our luck
This issue has been going on for years
I don't know if this is a wise choice
But since we only made a bet on it
Shall see how it goes

I'm finally done with the hampers and assignments for MA & FR
Which I spent countless days doing
To rush it before CNY
Only left with the assignments for other modules
And getting ready for revision
I'm still hoping for 2nd upper
It's easy to say but don't think it's possible
I'll just do my best

Had a really weird dream yesterday night
Dreamt about an assassin flying through the bedroom window
He was going to attack me
So I went hiding underneath my bed but was discovered
And I woke up. Lol.

After I have cleared the pile of assignments and hampers
I didn't expect to have a second round
I initially planned to start my revision this week
Looks like I will need to postpone
But there's not much time now
It's about 7 more weeks to prelim
And 4 more months to final exam!
I'm dying

Speaking of school, he's in SIM now too
He has changed to a different course which was quite unexpected
Who knows. I might see him in school one day

Yesterday went to the jobs portal to take a look
Just suddenly feel like knowing how the "market" is now
It's going to be a big headache for me
Finding the right company, position, job scope, pay, location etc
So many things to look out for
That will be the start of my career life
The thought of it already makes me...

Some things that lightens up my mood in these few days...
I'll start with few days ago when I login to my student portal
And I saw my lecturer posts some assignments which she thinks are excellent
I saw a very familiar handwriting and I scrolled to see the name
And it's mine!
I was quite surprised because I didn't expect to get good marks
I thought I might only barely pass
I didn't really spent much time doing the assignment
I just simply researched briefly on the net and did the assignment
Which I did for the sake of doing only
I admit that it was the least time and effort I've spent compared to FR and MA
Anyway, it did brighten up my day
At least I'm on the right track
Because I was worried that I studied so hard but I may not be studying the right stuff

I'm going to spend the 1st and 2nd day of CNY on Star Cruise Virgo!
Oh my god.
Although it's not my first time going on a cruise,
I'm still looking forward to it!
It might be a different experience
Firstly is because I have not been on Star Virgo
Secondly is spending CNY on the sea
At least this year's CNY for me is not boring anymore. =)

Happy New Year 2012

Everyone in my family (except my dad) went for countdown
And I was watching the countdown... on tv
Everyone asked me whether I have any plans for that day
But sadly, no
I started thinking, then what have I done and where was I last year and the year before
It's with him
No wonder this year seems different
Anyway, what's over is over
Thinking back in 2011, I've experienced a lot
Been through good and bad times
A new year is a new beginning
New hopes, new goals and new surprises
Hope that it will be smooth sailing in 2012

Went to Wild Wild Wet with my aunt and cousins today
It was my second time there
The place is still the same
I just feel that it is becoming more boring
Except for the slide up and the float for 6 people
So I stopped playing since 4pm and sat at the bench to wait for them till 7pm
The place is not bad, it's just that once you have went there once,
there's not much excitement anymore
Just like Genting. The same old rides
But it's a great gathering with relatives
Which I have not done with my family for a longggg time

I just read an article on why the Mr Right aka Perfect man doesn't exist
It's interesting to know such things
As women, we are too concerned with the little flaws in men
To be exact, we are realistic
And I agree most of the time we do
I also agree that it says "perfect isn't always what's best for us"
Once upon a time, I'm one of the girls who are looking for the "perfect man"
And I've realised it's almost impossible
That's why women are now looking for Mr All-Right instead

My uncle from Malysia called few days ago
They want to borrow money from us
Because they don't have money to send their youngest son to school
Yes, by right we should help them
But on the other hand, so many things have happened
They did this to us yet when they need help, we are the first to find
Anyway, my parents sent the money over already
It's our family afterall.
But to think of it. Humans are really greedy and selfish
I think other families are also the same
Even your closest family member will do something that you cannot expect
My mummy only says "好人有好报"
Hope it's true

Went out with mummy yesterday
And met a fortune teller
As usual, she asked for the same things
When it's done, the fortune teller asked me whether I want
He is basically saying the obvious things and say
"You need to be calm in everything you do" and "Just pray to Buddha everyday to keep yourself calm"
This was my first time yet met with a "con man"
I'll consider getting my fortune taken next time (A really good one)

5 more months to finish my studies
I've only a few hundred bucks to survive
Is that possible? Probably, if I don't go out
I've already cut down on my spending a lot
Please, let me survive for a few more months

Went out for consecutive days
Let's start with the day before Xmas eve
Had a gathering with ex-colleagues for dinner and ktv
We had a gift exchange except that we won't know who we will be buying for
One of them forgot to buy the gift so he ask me to help him buy
And it's a voucher
So I bought and then, we draw lots
Guess what? He end up drawing my name
So I'm actually buying my own present
That's hilarious
No more surprise for me
But if I think in another way, vouchers are good in a way
I can choose to buy what I want. =)
That's nbt all. We went to partyworld and while we were singing halfway,
The whole place blackout and the aircon were off
For half an hour somemore
So they gave us more time
I reached home at 3am that day
I have not stayed out for so late for a very long time already

So where did I hang out on Xmas eve?
Not orchard, it's Nex mall
Watched "Already Famous" with the girls
The movie was quite draggy
Was not as good as I thought
After movie, we had dinner with Joel
And as usual, after that is home sweet home
So this yeat's Xmas eve for me is like another normal weekend

Finally, actual day itself! Which is yesterday
My ex-colleague asked me out for a movie
Because he got a pair of IMAX movie tickets
We watched "Mission Impossible"
It's nice man, both the movie and the cinema
Although it's an action movie which I don't often watch, I like how they did the dangerous moves
It's nervous to see what will happen next
The cinema is bigger than the normal one
Especially the super big screen
I pity the people sitting on the first row
It's a bit like watching a 3D movie in HD, without glasses
But overall experience is okay only
I probably won't spend the money to watch IMAX again
It's really damn expensive, I'll rather spend it on other stuff

Alright, after some updates, I have to continue doing my assignments
No more going out for now

I didn't mean to forget
But sometimes when I think of it, haiz
I don't know why
Is it only in my family that everyone are like "can't be bothered"
The adults behave this way and eventually influence the kids
I can't deny that I'm actually the same
Even a simple thing like birthdays, nobody bothers to even mention it
Let alone birthday cakes or dinner celebration
The day will just pass like any normal day
It's sad right? But I'm used to it already

I'm drowning by the never-ending assignments and tutorials
Probably by the time I've finished with all these, it's exams time
I know I'm been talking about this alot of times
This is because I'm starting to feel the stress
Alot of friends around me are either started working, just graduated or just finished their exams
So practically, they are enjoying holidays now
I don't look forward to this coming christmas, new year and cny
There is really no mood to celebrate
It seems that as one ages, everything starts to tone down
Lesser excitement, lesser fun stuff etc

A super duper tiring day todayGuess what?
I went to the USS today with the usual clique
Though it wasn't something new to me
But I can get to try the rides that I have not tried before
Especially the newly opened "Transformer"!
It's awesome. I like the 3D visual effect
Though the ride is not as thrilling as the rest
Some shows are quite boring but some quite alright
The most thrilling ride in USS suddenly became "nothing" to me
Maybe it's because we are immuned to it already
When you have tried so many rides in 1 day, you will definitely know the feeling
Overall, it's fun
Besides trying the rides, there's photo taking etc
Most of all, it's a break for all of us today. Be it school or work
A day for us to enjoy and play
This is the main enjoyment

The train service chooses to break down today
Had to take the circle line to Bishan then took the free shuttle bus to AMK then took bus home
I'm considered lucky already
I pity the people who were trapped in the train for hours today
That's really untolerable
Hope it will function again by morning time

Girls bring the boys out!
They were awesome yesterday
I meant the day before yesterday
We didn't expect that our seats were actually the 1st row at the balcony seats
We were so lucky, can see the girls without anything blocking in front
Except for the balcony
Though it is still very far from the stage
But we can still feel the atmosphere, so that's worth it
But felt a bit regreted that we didn't buy the more ex tickets
The distance is quite ALOT
So many enthu fans out there
2 teenage boys seating beside me were wearing pink t-shirt and carrying pink hearts and pink light sticks
That's super PINK!
I didn't know guys can be so crazy, some even crazier than girls

Actually, I did dreamt of going to the concert few weeks before
But the weird thing is I didn't think of it at all
And the coincidence is we were sitting at the same row with exact position
There's something blocking our view also (The balcony)
Haha, dream really comes true.

Today is a Sat
Unlike a normal Sat, I don't why I just started doing my assignment for the whole noon
Until dinner time
It doesn't feel like a weekend to me anymore
My mind is always full of studying now
Because there's really not much time left now
But I'm considered not hardworking already
My school mates are all revising and more hardworking than me
And they even have to work at the same time
That's even more "Xiong"
It makes me more stressed up

This week is a tiring weekHad classes for 4 days straight
Finally can rest today
I'm barely can catch up with the pace now
With all the tutorials, assignments, tests and articles
My time is all occupied
Wanted to start revision soon, hopefully
Dec is a festive month, everyone is in holiday mood
But I don't feel it at all
I can only think of exams are coming

My swollen eye is much better now, though not fully recovered
Seen the doctor twice already
Because it was sooo painful that I cannot stand it
Hopefully can fully recover soon

Will be going to the concert today
It was so fast
When I bought the tickets, I was thinking that there is still one more month
And the day has come
He smsed me on one particular night that he will be going to the concert also
Eh... I don't know what to say

Watched the "You are the apple of my eye" movie todaySince the movie has been released for a month already
So I thought the cinema won't be packed
But I'm wrong
It's full house, even the 1st row is filled up
So you can imagine how popular it is
My first impression of this show is that it looks like a normal taiwanese movie to me
After more and more people were discussing about it
And I went to watch the trailer online
It looks quite interesting
But before I watched, I already knew the storyline
So it's not as surprising anymore
But the movie is great
Although it's not a blockbuster show, the simple storyline could make a great movie
This is the only movie that could bring back everyone's memories of sec school life
I missed those days (minus the unhappiness times)
I felt the most sad when it comes to graduation day especially

There's also a mini gathering for the Poly year 1 mates today
I have to say the 2 words again, "Time flies"
Those were one of the most happiest times in my entire school life
Everyone has their own plans now
Some moving on to their next phase of life ---> Marriage
We should really enjoy to our fullest when we were in school
Except in SIM
If I were to rate, it is the most boring school life
We cannot reverse back the time
Without knowing, we are getting older
I'm very afraid that I will regret what things I have not done in my whole life
The movie really makes me think a lot. Haha
So I have to really start thinking of my life goals

When there are life goals, we know what we want and will try to achieve them
So that we don't live for nothing

I don't know what is there never-ending problems occuring (Although this is not a new problem)I NEVER expect it will happen today
The problem is there for so long, brought up so many times yet no use
But it was somehow triggered, and exploded
I have no right to say anything here
I understand why he behaves that way
The stressness he has undertaken is not what a person at his age can withstand
All these are due to the upbringing by the family and external influences
I can't say who is at fault here
Because this is life
We are destined to be in this family and we have to face the fact
I believe he has became out of control because he has not 想通

I've realised that friends are slowly drifting apart now
Interests, common topics and the environments are getting different

We might even lost contacts, like my primary school friends
We were once best buddies
But now, even if we see one another on the streets, we may not recognise
Because everybody has changed
From friends to strangers

Happy Birthday To Me!

I'm officially 22. It seems that my 21st bday had only just passed
I could still remember very clearly
Had a celebration with the girls on Sun
It was a bad day
We went Marina Barrage
We only sat down for only around half an hour and it started raining till late night
So we didn't had a proper picnic
I was quite disappointed because I had been wanting to go there for so long and yet the weather is like this. =(
And there is probably the only celebration for my bday this year
But at least the girls made the effort to plan and accompany me the whole day
So it's worth it after all

Maybe I had kept everything to myself for so long until I totally broke downI tried to deceived myself but failed
I broke down in front of her and it's in the public
I have never done this, not even once in my whole life
For that whole day I was very very depressed, locking myself in my bedroom for 1 day
Not eaten anything for the whole day
But this actually helps
Although I don't know if she really mean it
But I believed after all
After that day, I began to fall sick
For 3 consecutive days!
I've only just recovered today

My birthday is coming
But I don't feel any excitement or looking forward to it
It's just another birthday when I will be 1 year older
Except for last year, birthdays are getting more boring and lonely for me
As time goes by, I think nobody will remember my birthday anymore

Speaking of birthday, I've received another SMS from him last night
Time flies, it has been almost 1 year

I've found a buyer at last!
Had been posting in forums and checking every single day for any reply
Finally there's this person who is willing to buy the tickets
We met up on the day itself which is yesterday
It was a fast deal
Luckily the buyer stay near my area
He's actually a young boy
Should be at Secondary level
Was a bit scared at first before the meet up
Maybe because of a previous incident,
I was afraid it might be a scam
God has helped me after all

I was quite depressed this few days
She has done so many things yet she don't know that it has been affecting not only herself, but the whole family
I have thought of many ways.
To cut off all ties, run away from home etc
These have been floating in my mind
I'll rather wish that we are a poor family whose only worry is food
I don't wish for any luxury
I only want a simple, happy family
Our situation is now worse than a single/ broken family
All parents will want to groom their kids, saving money for their education and future
They are an exception
They only think of themselves
We are only born to this world, given food and shelter
And we have to find our ways to survive after that
They don't bother about our school, work and own financial problems
We have to find our own ways to solve
If no choice, we have to "beg" them to help
Is this what parents' responsibilities are?

I'm so upset.
The buyer actually backed out as she had already purchased the 2nd night tickets
I have to find ways to sell the 2 tickets now

They delivered the tickets to my house yesterday
And only knocked on my door TWICE
When my mum opened the door, the person is already gone
I have to make a trip down to the post office to collect today
After that went to collect my free gifts from Teenage
It's at Pasir Ris. Damn far.
Spent half an hour looking for the building
It's at some industrial area
I had to ask many people before I found the place

She's really "无药可救" already
Had been hesitating whether to do it anot
After my aunt had a talk with me, I think I should really make this move
If this continues, it will be disastrous
It is getting more serious lately
She has really changed a lot. It's really a lot
Until I wonder is it her
Might even end up like the dramas where everybody has to clear up the mess

Every household face different situations
I knew this will affect our relationship, for sure
Especially I'm not the apple in her eye

Regarding the post earlier,I have just sold the concert tickets.
I'm so happy that I managed to sell them, thanks to yl
I was quite afraid that I could'nt recover my losses initially
It shows that so many people are desperate for the tickets
I'm looking forward to the concert!
It's my second time seeing them in a concert other than the Kpop Night last year
I can still remember how crazy it is during that night
And how we managed to squeeze all the way to CAT 1
Having a closer look of the stars
It's like a dream
Even if I'm not a really die hard fan of kpop,
I became one of them in that situation. Haha
Hope it will be a good one this coming concert. =)

Anyway, I want to blog about this incident which happened on Wed
I guess most of you already know about this matter
Early in the morning and my house door is splashed by paint by the loan sharks!
It's my neighbour who owed them money and they do this to us?
Their door is splashed is well
Obviously, they did it on purpose!
My mum was so angry that she called the police
If she had come home 10 minutes earlier, she might be able to catch the culprit.
But since what's done is done, there's nothing we can do
Hopefully they won't do something like this again or maybe harass us

I'm so happy today.At 10am today, I sit in front of the computer.
Not watching show, not playing games.
But waiting to grab SNSD's concert tickets!
It may sound scary. Yes, it really is.
The tickets are sold out within few minutes.

When I wanted to give up, I tried to refresh the page for a few more times and...
Some seats become available!
It must be due to system lag/error, that's why people's connections are lost.

2 for my friend and myself

Went to Leisure World last Sat with mummy, cousin and my neighbour
Stayed there for 1 night
It's damn boring
Nothing to do except for gambling
Star Cruise is much much better

Good news...
Though it's a bit 可惜, we should be glad that god has treated us well

Hopefully our wish will come true

I know it's a bit childish to think this way
I'm already a grown up, should have a more mature mindset

First week of school was a honeymoon week

After a few weeks, I can't be sure I'll even have time to update this blog

Can imagine how I'm going to be "tortured" by 1 of the lecturers

And I have 2 modules under him

This is a double dose for me

Got to know a new friend

I'm surprised that in uni life, it's others who approached me first

Unlike in poly, I'm the one approaching others

That's a good thing, because UOL rarely have this kind of people

I'm actually quite free since I only have school twice a week

My parents have been nagging me to find a job as I'm too free at home

Had thought of finding a part time job but I only want to look for part time accounts job and that is really not easy to find

My friend offered me a job as tuition teacher

Which I don't think I'm suitable

Let's see how it goes

Gonna attend 3 wedding dinners for Oct

That's so scary

It doesn't happen to me before

But strictly speaking, I'll start receiving wedding invitations in time to come

Because we are getting old, but not very old actually

Just that old enough to get married

It's a bit sudden to know that my poly mate is getting married

I could remember last time when we were at chalet and were chatting away throughout the night

At that time, she's still single and now... she's getting married

This shows how time flies...

Today is the last day of my school holidays
Recapping what I have done during my holidays
Working, went overseas, catching up with friends and enjoying life
Did I make full use of my time? Probably.

4 months may be considered a long period

But once I start school

Everything will be fast paced until I graduate

Which means that there will be no holidays for me anymore

I will need to face the exam stress once again

This time even scarier

UOL exam is the most stressful exam of my life

It's also time to take the first step to know new friends

This is essential as a part of my uni life

Hope that I can complete my final year successfully

My vacation is officially over

1 more week and I will be starting school

Bangkok was quite disappointing

The things are not as cheap as before already

The prices are almost the same with Singapore now

I might as well shop here

But I will still go Bangkok, probably few years later

Did I mention that I went MBS for a 3d2n stay?

Yes, I went and just came back this morning

Anyway, it was quite fun (Though it's my 2nd time staying)

Nothing much to do actually, except for the pool

Good for relaxing and camwhore. Haha

We spent most of our time taking photos at the pool

Since we have nothing to do, yesterday we went out to watch 1 of my favorite movie "FD5"

As expected in FD series, this gruesome movie didn't disappoint us

The reason why I feel that it's scary is that all the death scenarios can be anything that happens in our daily life

It's like no matter how we avoid, we cannot escape death

Went to the Mid-autumn festival event at Buangkok with my family and relatives yesterday night

So long didn't attend this kind of event

And most of all, a rare family outing

We were very unlucky

It was raining and the place is in an open area

So the grass was muddy and wet

Can you imagine how our feet are soaked inside for a few hours

Luckily I wore slippers. Haha

But we got a lot of freebies there; lanterns, mooncakes, icecream, popcorn, candy etc

Overall, the event was boring until the lucky draw time

There was a LCD tv to be won

But we didn't win anything

Another shocking news

But this time it does not happen to me

I wanted to help but I'm considered an outsider

There's nothing I can do except to advise them

It's looks like everything seems smooth sailing for them all these years

But in fact, they still face obstacles

And I didn't know until today

I should have known it's normal for everyone

Maybe I will also face it one day myself

Hope they will be able to "渡过难关"

He asked me out for dinner again

Should I reject?

I don't wish to give him false hope but at the same time,

It may be just a normal dinner, as a friend

But he's really not the type for me

I don't know how to reject

If it is in the past, I would just reject straightaway

But thinking back, I was too harsh to people

I'm trying to change now

2 more days and I will be going to Bangkok!

Eat and shop, then eat and shop. Haha

But I'm still a bit worried about our safety though this is not our 1st time

Because the place is quite dangerous

The dinner was ...

I really don't know how to put it in words

It was very awkward throughout the night

He's really not the type for me

But it seems that he is going to ask me out more often

It seems that I having been having "桃花运" lately

But it's not a good thing to me at all

Another guy seems interested in me

But so far he did not make any move

Last day of work on Friday

Went for a walk in USS

As it was the last time going there as a staff

The next time will be paying the 70 bucks to enter already

Got a souvenir from the colleagues there

So nice of them right?

They got me a shirt from USS

I did feel a bit "不舍得"

Overall, it was quite fun working there

Early in the morning and I was waken by a phone call from 1 of the colleague

She's asking whether I'm free to cover her work today

Because all on mc (Too much of a coincidence right?)

If it is other things I can help, but it's to pick up calls

So I rejected

Furthermore, I'm not a staff there anymore

I'm not obliged to help

But I feel a bit bad. =(

Bad week for me
Yesterday did the ECR
I did it at my office which I thought shouldn't be a problem
It was sooo lag that I finally managed to log in after 1 and a half hours
I had logged in countless times!!!
At first I chose the good slots but after I've clicked continue,
It tells me to log in again
And by the time I log in, I have to re-select again because of the time limit
Ended up choosing the leftover slots
And I will be alone on every Tues because my friends didn't manage to choose the same due to the class full
I hate the ECR this year!
It's time to make new friends again

Today was informed that I have to cover the phone duties for 1 of my colleague tomorrow
as she's on MC tomorrow
It may sounds easy but picking up 100 plus calls a day is not a joke
And I have to work 12 hours!
Why must it when I am leaving I have to do this kind of thing?
Just 3 more days
I'm just a temp staff
It's not like I will get extra pay or something
This week is really tiring for me
Just had a merely 1 day rest and I need to work again

A new working environment and there's another surprise for me

But I didn't know his name at all

And got a dinner invitation.

I feel happy and sad at the same time
Happy because I can slack now (no more waking up early)

And I feel quite comfortable here, compared to my last company
I would seriously considering applying for FT here after I graduate

Time flies... Aug is going to be over soon.
Worked on Sat which is the Polling day
But since I'll have OT pay, I don't mind working
Had to answer phone calls for that whole day. =(
Because the person took MC on that day
I encountered someone "interesting"
I answered a call from a guy and he asked what time I end work and my working days etc
The funny thing is we didn't see each other before
Anyway, we won't have much chance to contact again
Since I rarely would need to answer calls, only at certain timings

Another temp staff left on last Fri
Which means that I would be having lunch alone
I will be walking in USS alone, playing the rides alone
That's pathetic right?
I should have came to this company earlier
They have alot of temp staff before I came in
And it seems that they were having fun everyday
Can see that they click very well
Even contacting one another every now and then
It's a bit weird if I join in because I don't really know them well
I hate the feeling of having to go to a new environment and blend in
And having to know new people
It's not easy
Everyone of them has a farewell party and all the previous temp staff would come back to celebrate
But I think for me most probably I'll be alone
Furthermore, they are not hiring anymore temp staff

This is really weird because my luck has not been good throughout the years

Results are out today.

I'm so happy that I passed all my modules for this year.

Though not very high marks, I'm already glad that I don't need to repeat the modules

I admit that I'm a bit greedy

I'm gonna aim for 2 more 2nd upper class marks next year

Hope I can pass my final year as well

Can foresee the stressfulness I'll have in yr 3

Today I keep checking on the results every hour since I stepped into the office this morning

Because it says that results will be out by 1pm (UK time), which is by 8pm in Sg

But once after I was busy doing something else, I was informed that results are out

My heart stopped for a second

Congrats to those who passed. =)

And for those who failed, hope you can pass the second time.

I can now enjoy the rest of my holidays now (though only a month left). =D

My first day of work was fun.

Toured around the whole Sentosa

Like a tourist. =)

Second day also quite okay

Learned to pick up calls from various departments

But the bad thing is that my office doesn't look like an office at all.

It's at the fire command centre

Lots of power switches, controllers etc

And it's like isolated

I might have to work on every Sat

Which means that I would not be able to go out as often anymore. =(

Because my friends and my off day crashes

Too bad I don't have staff benefits like discounts on USS tickets

I haven't even go there once

It seems that everyone went already

Now I understand why so many people tell me of the politics there

The "tai chi" masters etc

It's common in large companies

But I won't regret joining

My previous company even say "We will always welcome you back" when I told them I'm resigning

I was like speechless...

I actually didn't realize until my last day of work on Wed

One of the guy whom I'm not even close to asked for my facebook and no.

After MIA for some time,

I'm back.

Have been very very very busy nowadays

Some updates:

I have worked for 3 weeks already

Fast right?

This shows how quickly time passes

This is basically what I'm doing everyday:

Reach office at 8.45am, started working...

Go for lunch... after lunch... Continue working... knock off

No rest at all

I'm going crazy soon

Everyday rushing to get my work done on time

Busy until I don't even have time to go toilet

And yet I was being rushed by my superior

Being asked "Are you done. It's already XXpm"

But 1 good point is that times passes very fast

I don't know if this is the right job for me

And the people there are not very sociable

The office is damn quiet

I don't think it's a good environment

Can you imagine what I was doing today?

Folding clothes with strong sweaty smell (Don't know left for how long already)

And tidying up the storeroom

Is this what a temp office purchasing assistant is doing?
My job is only generating POs and now I am...

They are just making use of their staff to do all these things
Now I know why so many people there are resigning

So right now I need to start job hunting.

If possible, I can look for an accounting job

Hopefully I can find though I know it is not quite possible

Since I only have 2 & 1/2 months left

I'm going overseas. Yay.

Time flies

Came back from Malacca for a week already

It was really an enjoyable trip

Being able to see my relatives after SO many years

It's nice to see everybody (though only some) gathers together

The wedding is a bit special because the bride is actually a Thai

And she's well versed in Chinese & even Hokkien

And it's another "feng zi cheng hun"

Speaking of this, heard from my dad that my young cousin from Penang is pregnant. Lol

She's only 18

So many cousins of mine are like this.

OMG. What is happening to this society?

Okay. Back to the topic

Went to eat Malacca's famous food

And shopping of course!

I wish I could stay there longer. =(

Whenever I go back, the feeling is so much different from Singapore

Livelier and less stressed

Maybe I'll go back again in CNY?

I found a temp job finally

As an office admin

Although the pay is not high,

at least I can earn some income and "da fa shi jian"

The place is not very convenient though

But the surrounding looks really like my previous workplace

At first I want to find an accounting job

But most of them require job experience

So I look for admin instead

Hope the environment will be good

I'm really not confident in all the papers

I just wish for a pass

Sometimes I feel that I studied so much yet not much return

Had a "nightmare" last night

It's not really considered nightmare

A dream that reflect what I feel

Stressed & irritated by someone

I don't mean to hate that person

But in the dream I really feel really irritated

And keep wanting to escape

This is the 2nd time I dreamt about him

And both were not good dreams

Everytime when I think that I've gotten over it

A sms will pop up to ask whether I can go downstairs to collect gift from him

Dreamt that I got only 18 marks for my exam

Guess what?

I just changed my hairstyle!

I went to become a "Guinea pig" for a new salon product

Went with my sis

And the result is... not as good as I have expected

And I always wanted a change of hairstyle

2 days ago there were a few policemen & firemen coming to my Blk

They don't seem to know which unit & keep walking past my house

Out of curiosity, my bro, cousin & myself went downstairs to join the crowd to see what is happening

We stood there for about 10 min & saw the firemen climbing up into a house using their ladder

Then came down

So scary. Our house is just 2 units beside it

It seems that there is a fire right?

But they didn't use any fire extinguisher & hose at all

We waste our time to see what happen

And today is his bday

Everybody has been telling me that I don't look depressed at all

Dreamt of 4 digit no. yest

It was a weird dream of my mum buying 4D

She's buying my IC no.

So I told my mum

She went to buy and guess what?

She strike 4D!

Although it's only consolation prize,

Went to the Electronics & furniture CNY fair at Suntec today

Initially I did not intend to go because I thought its a waste of time

My bro went to queue from 6 in the morning

Then he called to say that there are alot of people

I went down to see how long is the queue

Since I wake up at 8 plus and I have nothing to do

The queue for $29 deals are really WOW

Can't even see where the queue ends

Then I went to the other queue (not $29 deals)

It's much much shorter

So I decided to try my luck

I only queued for 1 & a half hours & my bro only got a goodie bag (everything sold out)

We bought a Samsung LED tv

But the price is not that fantastic

Only slightly cheaper than retail price

Then we have to spend our time queueing up & carry home. =(

That's not all

We went home to install & found out that our Starhub set-top box is not suitable

Have to upgrade for a new one, or else we can't watch SCV channels (Actually can, in black & white only)

Gonna bring to Starhub tomorrow to upgrade since I'm buying iphone 4 tomorrow

Speaking of iphone 4...

Yeah! Finally I can buy the phone

After waiting since long long time ago

Before iphone 4 is released in sg, I have been waiting to buy

Really looking forward into it and I'm gonna explore the applications. =)

I'm back to reality after a short break

I entered the casino at last

Though I went in 3 times and caught twice

The person thought I'm underage. Lol

It's really so huge inside that I think I will get lost
And I've won a bit... Haha... Guess it's beginner's luck

So I never played again after I've won

Scared I will lose back the money

Everybody won too! expect for my parents. =(

Don't mention that already

I'm utterly disappointed in them

It's fun going together in a big group

But there are cons as well

Unable to communicate with one another, need to wait here wait there etc

Have to acc my bf and his friend, and to acc my family and relatives

How I wish I can teleport

It's a totally different experience from the trips before

Though it's the same place

I didn't get to try alot of stuff like watching movie, going for karoake, shopping etc

Only went to theme park and casino and eating

If I were to go again, I will try other stuff ba

She's having diarrhoea for 4 days already

Merry Christmas!!!

Everything doesn't go according to the plan yesterday night
Planned to go pub initially but Gladys & Joel can't make it at the last minute
In the end, we went to Orchard (the most crowded place on X'mas eve)
Had dinner at a Japanese restaurant at Wheelock Place
The food there is quite expensive
Spent about $30
Stayed at Orchard take pics then went to Starbucks to chill

After that, went to bf's friend house for a gathering

It's a different experience spending xmas with a group of people

Went to school in the morning then meet my mum, sis & cousin in town

To shop for my mum's birthday present

We had lunch in Ding Tai Fung then shop in Taka

She's so amazed by the long queue

But the queue is really very long even for Chanel

She saw many brands and eventually, she chose the same wallet that she initially wanted

Had a pre-christmas dinner at marina square with my poly friends yesterday

We ate manhattan fish market

Last year we also ate at the same restaurant

Just that it's at different outlet. Lol

It's been quite long since we have met up the last time for dinner

Those were bought in Taiwan

It's very cheap there

Went to their holy wedding yesterday morning

Wake up at 7 plus and went to Eunos to meet my ex-colleagues to go there together

We were late, the couple already marched in. Damn paiseh

After that we went for a lunch banquet at a super Chinese restaurant

Had chats with my ex-colleagues after not seeing them for a month. (The last time on my birthday)

Should we go for jobs of our interest or just plainly just for the high pay even if we don't like it?

Went to take my oath last week
In the end not enough time to do my passport
was late by just 5 MIN!
So I went again the next time day.
Guess what? I went there at 12pm and wait till 4pm to get my passport done
4 hours of waiting time. Can you believe that???
I just sit there stoning, daydreaming, listening to mp3 to pass time
But the good thing is that I can get on the same day.
Don't need to go back again.
A STRANGE thing is that I went to take pics for my passport photo at ICA the previous day(Just in case only). The next day when I have gotten my passport (Form & photo already submitted 2 weeks ago), the photo is not the one I have submitted. It's the one I have took the previous day! And I did not pass them any photo taken on that day. And it's so ugly la. =(

Woohoo! I'm back after so long
I'm like updating this blog once a year. Lol
Been so busy since the last time I have blogged

Some updates:
1) I'm back to school! Been struggling to catch up with my modules. Seems so alien to me

2) Finally, my another wish came true. Went to Taiwan in Aug. Yippie! I missed the food there. =(

3) My 21st bday celebration. Had a chalet. Though it's not special, but it's really memorable. Being 1 day as a princess feels like I was in fairytale. Would like to thank everyone for the presents and bday wishes! Especially to yl and gladys who helped out in doing the guestbook, goodies & decorations.

I need time to clear my stuff soon!
My cousin from malaysia came last nite
She will be staying at our house coz she's finding a job here
And my sis is coming to stay this wed till sun coz her husband gg overseas
She's bringing Javier too. =)

Juz received the letter from ICA to take the oath so that I can remain as a Singaporean
So I went to the Malaysia High Commission last week to surrender my documents etc
But the memo can only collect 1 week later
Which means that I need to go back again to collect so that I can go ICA to take the oath
So ma fan.
When I went there last week, alot of forms that I need to fill up was in Malay!
Then I was so "sua gu" there. =(

Looking forward to:

So many things have happened.
I have graduated from NYP in March last year.
Then went job hunting...
Then found a job position in NOVITA.
I supposed most of you have not heard of this company.
It's a small company la.

But I have to leave this company sooner or later
Will miss my colleagues alot. =(
Coz I intending to study in SIM this year.
Yay! Another goal achieved.
But so long didn't study liao.
Afraid that I can't catch up. =(

He's going to 2 months le

Some updates for the past few weeks:

Went back to my IPP company today
Feels so familiar. Sitting at my old seat again.
I'm like having a feeling of going back to work.
But they don't hire part-time so no choice lor.
I really need a part time job badly...

That time I went to pizza hut with my bro
I will not say where is it
There is like about 5-6 ppl in the restaurant
And the waiter actually forgot my order
and my bro has already finished his food
Then never mind. I go and make payment
The cashier gave me a change of 17 ten cents!

Sometimes I'm just plain unlucky in many areas
Cannot compare ourselves with other ppl

My work is super routine everyday

Week 1 of IPP is over!
I could not say that its wonderful or terrible
But I do not like the habit of waking up at 6am in the morning everyday
I have to adjust my sleeping time again
I'm derived of sleep! =(
Almost everyday drink coffee lor

And everyday need to squeeze in the mrt with all the executives
How I wish I could take bus... (But its likely to be the same la)
I was so afraid that I can't get along with my colleagues
Luckily they are quite friendly
Got entertainment in my office somemore
Haha. I'm so heng coz I'm in the same dept as ah boon.
And got someone to take mrt together. =D

The whole of first week is doing data entry and those back-end stuff
And doing random stuff
like helping at the counter, printing, photocopying, packing, filing
But I still can cope la
I'm very glad that I do not need to be at the call centre
